Since we can’t all win the lottery…

In case you didn’t know, I’m an artist too. And while my art is a hobby, I still have the desire for recognition and sales. 

My “day job” is as a marketing professional, so I use my knowledge and skills to market my art. 

You may or may not be like me when it comes to the number of followers and the size of your email list, but regardless of where you are, you have something to work with. 

Currently, I have 75 people on my art mailing list. 😲 Most are family and friends. Some are from art sales I’ve made through in-person connections. I’ve sold a handful of art through art shows, and the rest have been through personal connections on social media and my newsletter list. 

The majority of my art sales through newsletters are to repeat customers. Even though I post the same paintings over and over on my Instagram account. People “like” them but don’t buy from there.

Want to know when they buy? When I send an email telling them it’s for sale. <<Mic drop>> 🤜 🎤
